Sharks have much to teach us, because they never stop moving. When they stop moving they suffocate and die, which is why they sleep while swimming and are constantly in motion.
There comes a time in our lives when we are not sure which direction to take. Do we go left, or right, back-up, or stop? Should we change cars, take a train, a bus, an airplane or walk? Should we ask advice from a trusted source or search for answers from someone who is familiar with our condition? In Chapter 19 “Deep Water,” we say; Responsibility is that age-old ability to learn and grow from our “mistakes,” which are not mistakes if tools for growth.
Make them but learn from them. Making them provides opportunities, and when you don’t take advantage of those opportunities you are made to relive them. It isn’t a failing grade, what it means is we have faith in you, and we love and support you to do what you have yet to find on your own -therefore, try it again. Whether you find courage, or brilliance, self love or purpose, or all the above, we believe in you.
